The invention applies to grape growing. The trellis post of polygonal section is made with the pointed inferior part. There exist various supporting systems in grape growing, but most posts are not resistant enough. Most of the front posts crack as a result of the created pressure after installing and winding the supporting wire. This invention solves these problems by offering two types of supporting posts with a polygonal section and one pointed end.
The first variant – onto the superior end of the post it is made a groove and in the superior part of the post, parallel to the groove, there are made through holes, three of which are horizontally arranged in a row and the fourth – under one of the marginal horizontal holes. Novelty consists in that onto the lateral face of the post, between the horizontal row of the holes and the fourth hole, perpendicular to the axis of the groove, there is supplementary made a recess.
The trellis post of polygonal section, according to the second variant, is made with the pointed inferior part, and into its lateral face there are made through holes. The novelty consists in that the holes are arranged in a row along the longitudinal axis of the post, and onto its lateral face, in the superior part, perpendicular to the axes of the holes, it is made a recess. The invention offers the possibility of winding and installing the wire at different levels.
