DENTAL IMPLANT

Innovation Type - product

Potential beneficiaries - dentistry clinics

SUMMARY:

The invention refers to dentistry and can be used as dental implant, which serves as denture support. The dental implant is shaped in the form of a screw with a spiral thread and an axial orifice with thread, as well as a collapsible head with threaded facet and tail. The head is connected to the screw through a threaded joining; simultaneously a cylindrical neck is designed between the threaded tail and the head. On the frontal side of the screw a neck with facets is made.

DESCRIPTION:
The disadvantage of the already known dental implant is the osseointegration insufficiency.
The proposed implant is characterized by a modified construction, which allows introducing an osteoregenerator process stimulator into the implant interior cavity, before the surgery for the placement of implant is made. Stimulator diffusion into the surrounding bone tissues contributes to an efficient fusing of the implant with bone tissues, thus reducing the failures.
The dental implant is made of two collapsible parts: the bone part made of a root and a sharp extremity, and the gum part made of the dental crown. Dental implant devices can be made of titanium.

ADVANTAGES

  • Stimulates the fusing of implant root with the surrounding bone tissues;
  • Assures implant osseointegration without totally immobilizing the intrabone part during the post operational period;
  • The cost of the present implant is 20-30 % lower than the any other existing dental implants.
