INCREASING NATURAL HONEY PRODUCTION
Innovation Type - technique
Potential beneficiaries - bee farms, farm stores
SUMMARY / SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS
The exisintg methods are expensive, contain synthetic acids, and rapid oxidation provokes diarrhea with bees. The techniques prescribes feeding the bees with a mixture of sugar syrup and an addition of Spirulina Platensis cianobacteria biomass that is used by bees and contains natural bioactive components.
The result is the increase in storage life of the mixture, as well as increasing the honey production indicators and avoids the oxidation and fermentation of the feeding substances.
ADVANTAGES
- Increasing the stability degree of the feeding mixture;
- Increasing the shelflife of the feeding mixture;
- Increasing the honey yields.
