Electric power production with the traditional turbine, which rotation axis does not coincide with the wind direction

ADVANTAGES

  • Increase of coefficient of wind power using due to the difference of air speed on different surface fins (appearance of injection phenomenon)
  • Efficient operation on low wind speed
  • High capacity on production of electric, thermal and mechanic power, due to the new design of helicoidal turbine. It contains the axis (1), on which the fins are fixed along the helicoidal line with the constant step (2), which have the aerodynamic profile in normal section
  • Reducing of wind braking in longer-length turbines, because the fins can be installed with direrent stage of helicoidal line, specifically the stage can be increased towards with the exit from turbine
  • The fins have aerodynamic profile in sections, which ensure an addional effect generated by the peripheric injection of air masses
  • Helicoidal turbine can be automatically oriented towards the wind direction. It can be installed with horizontal axis, with shaft placed at the angle of the vertical axis. Also, the turbine can be manufactured with the exterior cylindric or conic external surface.
  • Simple design, because there is no need to use the mechanism of turbine orientation towards the wind direction
