Method and equipment for fuel gas combustion

Innovation Type - Product and method

Potential beneficiaries - Private enterprises

DESCRIPTION/ SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS

Invention is related to the power engineering area, specifically, to the heat-and-power engineering equipment. The method of fuel gas combustion involves the preliminary heating of fuel blast air, its enriching with oxygen by the removal of nitrogen from it, introduction of blow air into the combustion zone, its mixing with the fuel gas and ignition.
The innovation consists in that the blow air is divided into the main and auxiliary parts, and the chamber of blow air introduction is made in the form of hollow round-section semi ring from diamagnetic material. In its central part the inlet is fixed. In its upper part the chamber of blow air introduction contains the transversal pipe connecting the main and auxiliary pipe-bends. The electric magnet is mounted on the section of transverse pipe, adjacent to the auxiliary pipe-bend. The electric magnet includes the coil; the heat exchanger is also mounted connected to the mixing chamber.
The efficiency consists in the air enriching with oxygen and in the increase in fuel gases combustion efficiency.

ADVANTAGES

  • Simple method of combusted air enriching with oxygen
  • Increase of the fuel combustion temperature
  • Increase of the gas combustion efficiency
  • Simple design, reducing of capital and maintenance costs
  • Reducing of pollution degree as a result of the air emissions reducing in atmosphere

Current stage of development - Laboratory tests

Desired collaboration - Partnership, investments, commercialization
