This invention relates to lubricating materials and can be used to coat spots with excessive rubbing required as well as an addition to dense lubricants or technological material for lubricating metals and metal alloys.
The new solid lubricant for metal plating contains hydroxide of copper and copper processed with acetone and acetyl. All compositions had been tested on devices with four balls in order to evaluate their properties against attrition and corrosion. The technical result leads to enhanced qualities of this lubricating material to fight against deterioration and rust.
ADVANTAGES
- essentially cuts production costs comparing to the lubricant made of graphite or of disulphide of molybdenum (MoS2);
- can be added to dense lubricants and mineral oils to enhance their lubricating qualities;
- for the first time benefits of the capacity to plate rubbing surfaces.
