How to Enlarge the Assortment of Glass and Paints using Industrial Waste?

Innovation Type - Procedure and Device

Potential beneficiaries - The enterprises that apply galvanic-chemical technologies using sediments of dispersed ferrite sediments collected out of solution wastes containing chrome, nickel, manganese and iron, serving as pigments in glass industry.

SUMMARY / SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS

The new device consists of a horizontally installed cylindrical drum where shelves and laces are placed for iron, coke and scale loadings, a connecting pipe to transport the treated solution, magnets and of an electrical drive. The connecting pipe of the cylindrical drum has got an ax purposely attached to the cylindrical drum through the bracket. A hermetic drum is fixed on the bracket. The drum is made of diamagnetic material and fulfilled up to 1/4...1/3 of its capacity with spherical magnets. Paddles with curves following the drum motions’ shape are installed inside the drum. The hermetic drum is placed into a carcass linked to the cylindrical drum through the connecting pipe that also contains a pipe to evacuate the treated solution and a hole to throw out the accumulated sediments. A scrapper with arch is also linked to the carcass connected to the hermetic drum. This invention results in increased efficiency of the galvanic-chemical process of producing sediments of dispersed ferrite.

ADVANTAGES
