Technology of heavy metal separation from used waters proposed by our team uses the plating wastes. We resolve ecologic and economic problem, avoiding the pollutin of environment and repeated uzing of metals extracted from waste water.
Process of heavy metal separation from waste water is simple and includes the following operations:
- Adding of alkaline solutions and heavy metal precipitation in the form of hydroxides;
- Removal of formed sediment; prior to the adding of alkaline solution in waste water is introduced metallic iron in the amount 5-10 times higher than needed for copper replacement from waste water,
- Assure in one process the complete separation of copper and mixture of zinc, chromium, magnezium and other components hydroxides, which are subsequently separated by filtration.
