Removal of sulfurous anhydride from wine distillate using the ecologic compounds

THE PROPOSED SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM OF SULPHUROUS ANHYDRIDE PRESENCE IN WINE DISTILLATE:

As soon as the contents in sulphurous anhydride in wine affects the health of consumers, we propose to remove it using the ecologically friendly products on the base of calcium.
Our invention does not require investments in equipment. It is based on the introduction in wine distillate of calcium carbonate or hydroxide in the form of powder in 1,2-1,5 molar excess in relation of sulphurous anhydride in wine distillate. The contents is mixed and precipitate formed is removed. Calcium hydroxide is used in the form of lime milk or lime paste.
